Ford Model T?

I used to do the all day/weekend routine, now I tend to do it in stages. Bonnet and mudguards one day (or weekend), then roof and doors the next, then rear/tailgate. If I'm feeling energetic, I might even reduce it to two sessions, rather than three.:)

A couple of people have mentioned this on the MG4 Owners Australia facebook forum. Theory seemed to be glue or residue from wrapping of some sort during shipping. Maybe try a light polish. Someone suggested acetone worked, though I would probably go easy on that option.

Never had an issue with any of it*, even when people have left it far too late to cross in front of me. I have a personal theory that I tend to overreact myself, by slowing, swerving slightly, and the car is happy that I have "acknowledged" the potential problem. I will go with that theory...

Gyeon make good stuff. Unfortunately, the likes of Turtle Wax etc have diluted the term "ceramic" by putting it on all sorts of sprays which would be lucky to last six months in ideal circumstances.

I seem to remember a certain American brand of electric car using a piece of wood as a "fix" under the bonnet.

Not sure about that product, but I've watched a youtube channel called "Dmitry's Garage". Amongst other things, he tests detailing products. A year or two back he started testing waxes and "ceramic"* coats for UV-A protection, and not one had any. As in zero protection, not just very little. I...

Grey is the only choice. Mine has Soft99 Kiwami wax on it, and it still appears clean and shiny (from a few metres away) even with a layer of dust on it.

No, it's a scratch. Might be worth doing the "use-a glove-and-rub-on paint-with-finger" method rather than trying to use a brush.

Looking at the product, I assume it's more of a wax than a polish?

Who knows where this is going to be released? As far as I can tell, the MG5 we have here in Australia is a completely different MG5 to the one you have in Europe. Soooooo, you guys are welcome to this purplish blob.:D
