Well, I managed to change the right front bearing. The m12 triple square bolts were incredibly tight so I removed the whole carrier from the strut to get access, the bearing was a bit seized to the aluminium so just as well I think.
Good news though, it has cured the clicking !
Holding the old bearing in my hand I can feel a sort of 'tapping' from it as it's turned although it doesn't make any noise as such, the new one was smooth to turn by hand as expected.
Levered the rear cover from the bearing to see if anything was obviously broken inside but all that's visible is the magnetic ring for the wheel sensor which looks fine.
