probably a stupid question, but where is internal temperature displayed inside the MG 4 EV SE, I can find it on ismart app but the dashboard just seems to display the external temp?

I don't think there is an internal indication - only a selected target temperature (on the HVAC controls). Given that my car's HVAC seems to work much better now after the last updates then (after a few minutes) the target feels like actual cabin temperature.

To be honest, I can't remember any of my previous cars showing actual internal temperature.

Using a Trophy as reference, I think you are right. It's not there. The nearest is what you have set the aircondition to, which does not tell you the internal temperature.

Strangely, my BMW has a his and her's (*) temperature setting on the HVAC, so, in theory, I can be at 23 degrees whilst he is at 18 degrees. LOL, like that's going to work in a car without an internal division!

(*) are we allowed to say 'his and her's' these days

(*) Yes :)

Those temperature settings are still merely targets though (for a dual zone climate control system) ... I guess the BMW doesn't have internal temperature displayed?

Where is the external temperature? I can't seem to find it!! 😊
I think it’s somewhere along the top bar on the main infotainment screen isn’t it? I always have to search for it a bit, it’s not the most intuitive place, but it’s not hidden in sub menus or anything like that.

The MG Android app also displays the internal temperature. It is prone to displaying daft numbers at times e.g. -29°C when the temperature was +9°C. Used with MG EHS.

What Infotainment software version do you have? If it ends 1100R16 or 1100R21 then you're SOoL (work it out ;)) and you will need to pester your dealer for an update to resolve this missing safety feature. :)

1100R13 had it
1100R16 lost it
1100R21 still lost it
1100R33 brought it back
1100R38 kept it

Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes. 👍

I had a software update about 3 weeks ago?

I don't know what the software update numbers are in Ireland, but this side of the Irish Sea the display was present up to R13, vanished on R16 and R21, came back (with half-degree increments) on R33 and lost the half-degree increments on R38.

It seems my previous question was overlooked. 🤷‍♂️
