Potential buyer of MG4 SE

Are you sure* there's no wash? I've seen posts here from people wondering what the slot was in the rear wiper housing, and responses saying it was for the washer jet.

* maybe yours is broken?

PS - mine doesn't have a rear wiper. But every previous car I've had that has had one, has also had a rear washer.

wow that's amazing! Do NL have any incetives for EVs?

In our country MG actually raised the price for 1000€ a few months ago from 27000€...

I guess with 24k€ +7.2k€ incentive, that car become really really cheap.
Yes, 3000 euro's for a new EV, 2000 euro for a second hand EV, with a price below 45k euro. But they had a fixed amount of money available, and everything is gone now :P

Here we have €9000 for EV and lots of money still left at the end of last year in that government EV pot. No problem getting the subsidy if you want it. With 100% free fuel from our PV system and no yearly road tax/charge for EVs it's a no brainer. Most people here are very backward on new tech, so better for us who come from a tech background. Lots of negativity here for EVs and all from those who have never driven one. One claimed that batteries have to be changed every 3 years and cost at least €20,000 for a replacement, others claiming they'll catch fire, several claiming EVs aren't the way forward, hydrogen is the solution, bla,bla,bla. It really shows that much of 'humanity' is in a real dead-end with not passion or zest for the future. They prefer to stay 'as-is', no change, just simply sleep walking into nothingness.

The dumbest one I heard was someone telling me they read on Facebook (there we go) that firefighters won’t save your children out the back if your EV catches fire. As if anyone just sits in a car that’s on fire until the fire brigade shows up 🤦‍♂️

It is astounding how many people are fine with a big tank of explosive liquid in their car, but somehow have big issues with lithium ion (that most carry in their pocket all day long).

By jove you are right!

I have the Se SR and would recommend it, unless you do regular long commuted beyond range. The plus side is the low cost somewhat lower concerns about depreciation. I do expect this to level out in a few years tho
