I'm sorry to have to say this again, the regeneration levels have nothing to do with revving, they are only there to create a stronger deceleration and thus charge the battery more when you take your foot off the accelerator. And the car tends to rev higher in sport mode because the car is designed to accelerate more strongly, which is achieved by trying to stay in parallel mode the whole time and so the electric drive always stays on power. Unfortunately, I have to say that there are few drivers with experience of hybrids and fewer who really know the structure and function of such a drive.
