Boy am I pleased I found this group. Without it I suspect that those who have just purchased a new MG ZS Hybrid + would be feeling somewhat isolated.
Regarding the manual on eBay I’m assuming it’s this one:-
MG ZS HYBRID + -Owner USER Handbook Manual -A4 or A5 - New Print ALL YEARS.
If so, although it says 2024 it states that the Year of Publication is 2023.
As the car wasn’t launched, in the UK, until October 2024, it’s difficult to see how it can be current.
MG have recently added a new manual, which is available at

However, before you get too excited, it’s not comprehensive, there are many omissions, and it appears to be a word for word translation, undertaken by somebody with no knowledge of cars.
One glaring omission is that there is no mention at all of the Navigation System, which has a multitude of settings and features.
So many thanks to everyone who is helping the new owners get to grips with their new cars.

Yes that's the one I bought, note on the Ebay photo it has the MG badge on the bonnet.
I've got this from You Tube to hopefully help with Navigation, I think this might be be the previous MG with it's 3 panels against my 4.

( I'm after one for DAB Radio next.)

Whilst it’s for the MG3, the above appears to be identical to the navigation screen on the ZS This video deals with the Navigation, there are other guides regarding dealing with the MG3, and a lot of it appears to be the same as the new ZS hybrid+ why wouldn’t it be.
The guy gets a move on, but generally it possible to follow him.
I’m not sure when the MG3 was released, but if it’s taken a while to produce this new manual, I suspected it’s going to be some time before a proper/ accurate, up to date/useful manual is provided for the ZS Hybrid+.
Off now to look for the new MG3 manual on the MG website.

That's possibly in another manual. My ZS EV navigation and audio etc are all in a separate manual.

Thanks very much for the info. However, I very much doubt there is a separate manual for anything relating to the ZS Hybrid +. They’ve only just got around to providing an on-line manual. I won’t reiterate, suffice to say it’s the worst manual I’ve ever seen, for anything. They should be apologising, and getting who ever signed it off to take responsibility.

The manual says 75kg support load but everywhere it says 50kg support load. What is correct now

Which manual, the zs hybrid+, or the3? And where is everywhere?

In the app manual, the German version says 75kg and the English version says 50kg

I’ve looked on the German website for the ZS Hybrid +, and it appears it might be called ‘comfort’.
Of course it’s all in German, and I don’t have sufficient German to read it. I tried searching for ‘handbuch’ but nothing came up.
So I don’t know the answer, suffice to say MG manuals are not fit for purpose.
Can you look on the German manual, if there is a section regarding the Navigation system please.

I'M in Austria, which is German speaking as well, and on the Austrian website, there is nothing, and even with my iSmart app set to German, the manual is still in English for me. Probably still even more work in progress than the English version.
Comfort is the trim that is the base (SE) trim in the UK, most of LHD countries get a cheaper base trim below that with 16" steelies and a 10" touchscreen.

The German manual has no entry for operating the navigation. The emergency braking system is also missing from the German manual, or at least it is not complete. It only says that there is an alarm but not that the car brakes on its own.

Hi D. It’s amazing that in the UK have to rely on a care enthusiast in Auckland New Zealand to tell us how to use the navigation system.

Thanks for the tip. However, I was already aware.
Have you, actually tried to use it? If not try typing “Navigation”, into the search bar, or try to find information regarding the sound system (graphic equaliser).
Search for ‘Battery’, and you will discover that it informs “the battery is located in the front compartment”. Strange, I’m certain mine’s in the boot.
The manual is entitled MG ZS/MG ZS Hybrid + Version 1.0 December 21, 2023. The hybrid wasn’t actually released until October 2024, therefore the manual can’t possible be relevant to the hybrid. This oversight, is the reason for the disinformation.
I think it’s reasonable to conclude that the hybrid was released for sale prematurely, and with little support.
Dealerships are finding it difficult to answer customer queries, and there are no additions available e.g. mud flaps.
The good news might be that there is already a new software update, V08.17_HEV. I understand that it’s a dealership install, and is currently available in Spain and other countries.

Thanks for the reply, you are right, Ali Express, TEMU, Bangood, EBAY plus others all have MG ZS mud flaps. But the ZS is very different to the Hybrid+ .
The thought of buying a set from wherever, whilst suspecting it will very likely require drilling holes in my new car, is not an attractive proposition.
