Looks nice, what is the model of the tent?

It’s the OEX Vertex Lite 130 from Go Outdoors. Cost me £650.
It’s very comfortable and surprisingly stable in winds up to about 20 / 25 mph. I enjoyed using it on the MG5 for a number of trips last year. The MG was excellent with it fitted. It was fine up to around 50 /55 mph on the road but suffered a wee bit of whistling on some exposed roads and certain wind conditions above that speed.
I was travelling alone and found it quite easy to set up on arrival at the chosen stops.
It’s been totally waterproof as it’s double skinned heavy duty material and appears very well made.
The first couple of nights I found problems with condensation but subsequently managed to adjust the ventilation better by opening the door or windows at the top facing away from the wind direction. There’s also a large vent to unzip in the inner tent roof which helps as well.
I found the hardest part for an old duffer such as I was folding it up and fitting the outer shell ready for onward travel. It’s not particularly difficult but just awkward and of course all above shoulder height - perfect if you could arrange to revert back a decade or two to that time when blood flow to the arms was more constant. This was a particular problem in Glen Nevis when bottom fell out of the thermometer
I’ve now changed from the wonderful MG to the present Citroen e Berlingo so making the tent a fair bit higher off the ground if I fit it.
I’m planning to sleep in the Berlingo or my tipi tent depending on the weather.
The storm a few weeks ago. Destroyed the fence, greenhouse and garage roof so that has all conspired to stop me planning to escape while I get it all sorted. The fence is back (all 25 metres or thereby). The greenhouse is totally shattered and lies in a heap of twisted aluminium and five buckets of painstakingly collected particles of glass from far and wide around my garden and next door.
The garage roof awaits re-sheeting as soon as the guys are free of other storm induced repair work.
So I’ll probably reluctantly sell the roof tent as there doesn’t appear to be any prospect of any improvement in upper body strength as I home in on the 76th year marker.
