Just wondering about regularity of 100% charging. I do up to 3 trips to Canberra a week (I should move there😂) which means about 380km in total which is getting up to the max. comfortable range for me.
If I charge to 100% the night before I start my weekly driving, can I do this week by week with respect to battery health?
 Was this meant to be in the Joke thread ;) I got much the same when telling the locals I'd moved from the NSW South Coast to South Australia ...... the best reply was "And you said it with such a straight face ..... you were joking, weren't you?"

Hi does anyone know how to remove the parcel shelf on the MG4?

thanks
Ranging from a multitool to a hammer ..... unless you want to replace it at sometime, then best to wait for a different answer ;)

got the two strings on top, but I pull with force and it doesn't come out, don't want to break it.
ok I did exactly what you said, and bingo! thanks alot it worked !

Pretty good range for the 77 in theory but never in practice though

I think there should be MG4 Australia Accessories Thread. Anyway, I visit my family at the coast often, and it would make my life easier to have a second granny charger. They don't seem that easy to get. Supercheap auto has a Projecta 2.4kW one for $459, Yikes. Repco seems to do it for $349 (better). Has anyone used. Could it be a fire insurance issue (i.e., not covered as not MG)?

Thoughts?

Thanks

Even saw one on the speacials benches at Aldi.

I got one from Ali Express for more reasonable money. That was years ago though, and I forget the price. I have had zero issues with it, though I would have preferred a down button so it doesn't take ten presses to go down one amp.

Watch out for a non-Australian mains plug. That's not a concern for me since I wanted my own industrial plug with a locking splash proof shroud (plug available from Bunnings; industrial style outlet needed). The one I got is adjustable in 1A steps from 6A to 16A.

No endorsement, just a couple of options from Aussie EV charge equipment suppliers:

$200

$290

Awesome. Thanks.

DO NOT BUY from evchargingaus.com ... they are scam artists.

I lost ~$400 trying to buy a charger from them. They won't respond and won't send you your item.

Yes for credit cards but they no longer accept them. Was a bank transfer which I lodged a claim but was not successful.
For $400 I would look at small claims court, but only because in WA you can also claim the fees associated with your claim, otherwise it might be more of an ethical exercise (which might still be worth it).

That’s a good point, it’s insane how many people report issues with this bunch and nothing seems to happen.

I had it once with a place that sold camera lenses. Strangely I successfully bought an expensive telephoto lens from them, yet when I ordered a $50 lens a few weeks later they ghosted me.
