Even better would be a direct link to the car through the Car Info API which ABRP supports but MG doesn't. I didn't know this existed until I saw it working on a friends non-MG EV and then looked into it. He just installed ABRP and immediately it was aware of his SOC! He didn't even need a...
The autohold feature on my Octavia doesn't require the right kind of press on the brake pedal and is much better. It is activated any time the car comes to a complete stop and requires no thought or attention.
I am glad the MG4 has autohold but it is annoying that I have to glance to check...
What evidence does he give for overnight? I have my doubts and suspect that 2-3 hours would be sufficient. Overnight takes an already onerous 10-100% routine and makes it an inconvenience for people that use their cars. I note that MG don't feel the need to call out letting the battery fall...
While valid opinions, I wouldn't take this thread as indicative as the topic is attracting those who are not happy. The poll shows 77.6% happiness which is probably a fair measure. The MG4 is a great car for the money once the infotainment software is updated and by my measures the LKA software...
My MG4 is great but I will probably replace my wife's Skoda with a solid state battery EV once they are mainstream. I want to wait until there is a significant shift in technology before getting her EV and also have about five years between our two cars. Having said that I am watching the EV4...
Assuage is the opposite of Assange :ROFLMAO:
Roughly an hour for 10% on a 7kW charger. Roughly 3% an hour for granny chargers.
This is a feature that was released in Android 15 maybe she has an earlier version.
The best way to deal with depreciation is to hold on to your car as long as possible. I spent £23k on my MG4 trophy long range in September and am content with it especially now that disabling ELK/LKA is just a pull down menu away.
Do you use an external wireless AA adapter? Just trying to understand if any external factors could be at play. I am guessing it's something to do with randomizing MAC addresses but I don't know
Is it a Pixel? I've got a Pixel 8 and it's always re-pairing with the MG4. It's fine with our VWAG cars. It does my head in. I wonder if anyone has got software on their MG4 that fixes this. R63 doesn't but I suspect a TBOX upgrade may do it.
I use level 3...
1. if I want lower regen then I move my foot less
2. I don't need to start cycling through buttons to increase the regen level if there is an unexpected delay ahead. I did try level 3 on slower roads and level A on motorways but I prefer just reading ahead.
3. level 3...
Yes. You had to leave AA screen on R59 just like with R63. It's a slight inconvenience but I am used to it. The ELK menu is great and it's nice that the temperature numbers are no longer silly on R63. It would be lovely to be allowed to turn off ELK without leaving AA. What we really need...
Yes. You need to press the home button to take you out of AA first. Phone button, or selecting AA on screen to go back, or an android voice command will do too.
Thanks. The February Android update supposedly fixes Bluetooth issues so I will need to see if that helps although it may be a car issue rather than phone.
My current versions are in this post but they don't fix anything:

I had just been cancelling the message and it mostly works. I will try your suggested method. I like your tip about waiting although it's not my strong...
Okay, so this is UK spec but the Real Range for the Standard Range listed here should be a good estimate: MG MG4 EV Standard Range
You can look at Highway/Cold temperature for worst case examples too.
I have a Long Range and found the data for that model to be very similar to my experience...
