The prices dealer gave me are same as on MG’s own website for the 15,000miles/1yr schedule. Also the overall monthly total is greater than the individual services added together if paying monthly? 🙈

Not exactly a car modification but printed the Owners Car Manual so I have a hard copy (sometimes easier to read than online copies).

This is what my selling dealer has quoted me……no discount for taking it out as a service plan….just add each years total (depending on how long you want it for)…..the worrying one for me is the 4th year service at nearly £1000 (inc. MOT)🙈 Think I’m going to have to shop around….

Go to Settings…..General and drag screen up till you get to ‘Use GPS time’ and make sure this is selected. Then also make sure ‘Time Zone’ is selected to GMT LONDON.

Yes, Front no problem, Rear very, very slightly touch curve going towards rear wheel arch but they are flexible enough to still stick firmly. Hardest part of fitting was getting the film off the 3M tape to reveal the sticky surface to fix them in place.😂🙈.

Door sills (from Aliexpress) and Car Mats (from CarMats4U) added today. Also changed bulbs in front courtesy lights. (Not pictured) Front and rear dashcam and battery backup/parking mode supply fitted end of last week. Couldn’t use USB in rear view housing due to external battery backup parking...

Which has made me think there maybe a problem with the boot locking…..does it lock after 12V battery is disconnected and if it does lock how can you open it to connect the 12V back up. I think either way there may be some crawling though for the cabin to boot of car required🙈

Or may be if you can lock car doors with boot open then disconnect the battery and close boot.

Don’t forget engine may well be charging EV battery as well as driving car.

Does the key lock/unlock all the doors with the key when the battery is disconnected? Just you might end up with just the one door locked.🙈

The centre of the hole has a part that twists, you just have to turn it quarter turn so it lines up with slots in mats.

I know there have been several posts about the warning sounds that the MG3 makes, in particular speed camera warnings with some people saying they get several warnings way before they have reached the camera. Well my MG3 is different to this and in some ways worse. It give a single bong...

So far (only days with car😀) I’ve not had any ‘bongs’ when I’ve pressed ‘pause’ and radio has remained silent for several minutes (to end of journey).

I use the pause ⏸️ button.

I also noticed on my MG3 that when brake regeneration has been disabled by the ISA that the drivers display still shows the level of regen you last had selected before it was disabled.

Thanks I’ll check the main screen settings in the morning. Auto is what I want👍 There’s 3 or 4 different screen types in both Night and Day settings on the sat nav settings. These are the only ones I’ve looked at.

Collected car today👍❤️ Loved the drive home👍❤️ Only thing I’ve found is that he Sstnav screen is avowing maps in ‘nighttime’ screen during the daylight hours….havent figured out how to change this. I’ve gone into the settings for daytime screens and selected one of these but on returning to maps...

Something for me to investigate from tomorrow after I collect my MG3Hybrid+ trophy.
