    Hybrid Odometer Not Relevant

I can confirm it can be reset.

    Isn't that annoying? ?

It surely will. But is it a problem or something? If it does restart, it's just to charge the battery, so you won't drain the 12V battery too much.

    Isn't that annoying? ?

But why would you switch the car off in this situation? Can't you just press park and wait like that ?

    MG3 Operating modes ⚡

Very nice! Are those your graphics? Additionally, there is also 5th drive mode, in Service Manual it is called "Charge mode for driving". In this mode combustion engine both drive the wheels and EV2 generator to charge the battery, and EV1 electric engine is not used.

    Over-revving MG3 Hybrid+ engine

New info on the topic. There is new youtube video addressing this problem with MG3 climbing mountains and also engine braking on descents. I don't speed understand Italian, so I used NoteGPT AI tool to translate it to English, and it seems that most of the concerns raised here are true. Some...

    constant speed control

I was trying to find it yesterday, but couldn't. There is active cruise control with lane keeping assist, active cruise control which always only follows the car in front, but other that there is only speed limiter (intelligent or constant), but no options for standard, constant speed control.

How Driving Mode Affects The mpg.

Ok so I've checked the service manual we have linked in other thread, and for sure it doesn't mention anything about alternator, so I'd assume there is none in MG3. But also, unfortunately, it doesn't mention anything about how 12V battery is charged, or how petrol engine is started

How Driving Mode Affects The mpg.

Just FYI, it's AI generated article and it explains almost nothing regarding hybrid technology and it's use in recharging 12V battery, or use of an alternator in hybrid car :P

How Driving Mode Affects The mpg.

Where did you find info, that there is a Mazda engine inside MG3? I seriously doubt that.

    Regen Braking Brake Lights ??

I checked yesterday actually, and on regen 3 they do light up. But it depends also on speed/deceleration, so perhaps siteguru is correct, that it depends on retardation rate.

    Glasses case holder

From what I've read, glasses holder is available only in version with sunroof. Unfortunately, here in Poland, sunroof is not an option so no glasses holder on any of the MG3 available :(

    Over-revving MG3 Hybrid+ engine

I don't think it will be underpowered, but it will engage petrol engine more, for sure. But still I think most of the driving will be done by electric motor.

    Over-revving MG3 Hybrid+ engine

But what would happen in the situation when batteries are fully charged? I assume that you cannot put more energy in them, therefore you have to turn off regen. In normal car, you can always use your engine to engine-brake, but the question is, if in MG3 the petrol engine would start, to do...

    Emergency braking and demisting problems

My second car is a Subaru, also with pre-collision braking etc. and it does warn about collision sometimes, when I'm on the curve and the cars are parked on the side of the road. Although it works in few stages, first is warning, second light brake, and only at the end it brakes hard to a...

    Over-revving MG3 Hybrid+ engine

While I had concerns about going downhill as you said, going uphill should not be any problem. Petrol engine is over 100HP in this car, why would it struggle to climb any hill?
