Do you think, like me, that there is far too little time (3 or 4 minutes) before the eternal warning that when you stop, with the engine off, there is a risk of draining the 12-volt battery?

On my old Jazz hybrid it was after 25 minutes.

It was definitely a bit of a nuisance when I was first going through the various features to set-up, but now that I've got everything set up, the situation doesn't occur because I don't really have any need to sit in the car with the ignition on.

Cher MG clive,

Even when you're waiting for Mrs Clive, your brother, your sister or your uncle whom you've generously and affectionately driven off to his appointment?

You're waiting in your car and you'd like to be able to listen to the radio on your MG3 while you wait for him to get out of his appointment .... without having this reminder every 4 minutes!

Yes, Dstan, it's an interesting possibility.

However, don't you think that at some point the combustion engine will restart without warning, even in position P and when stationary?

Yes, you're probably right.

However, I can't imagine the 12v battery discharging just after 3 minutes, as the warning on my centre console suggests if the power supply is cut off.

Don't you think so?

Even on my daughter's Captur E-Tech Full Hybrid (2021), there is a similar warning,
or perhaps more peremptory.
Yes .....but by responding to the alert every 3 or 4 minutes!
