I think voice activation for the cars system doesn't exist on the MG3. Pressing the voice button just activates the CarPlay.

In full ACC mode (which I constantly use), I can select cruise control and lane assist via the steering wheel button at speeds below 18mph and it will switch on, automatically selecting 18mph as the set speed. If thar makes sense!

You have to disable the autofold setting in the menu. I do the same, and it cost me 100quid to get my door mirror repaired by my friendly bodyshop! Now if you want them to fold for example when you park, you have to flick the mirror switch down.

To turn off the radio I just press the pause button on the display.

From my experience the car goes into drive as soon as I've pressed the start button, and before all the graphics on the display have finished performing their act.
