An awful drive out today

Not sure what version you have so I'm not sure if you have voice control.
If you do have it, use these commands. Long press of the voice button also takes you to carplay or android auto.

AC on

AC off

Temperature up

Temperature down

Maximum temperature

Minimum temperature

Raise temperature by 2 degrees

Lower temperature by 2 degrees

Set temperature to 22 degrees

Increase fan speed

Decrease fan speed

Highest fan speed

Lowest fan speed

I think voice activation for the cars system doesn't exist on the MG3. Pressing the voice button just activates the CarPlay.

Voice control would be a great assett, but as said above it has zero function for the car it only works on the phone via BT or USB.

It was designed by a thoughtless child IMHO or someone who had never had to drive a car so had no clue what you might have to do whilst driving.

And don't get me started on the stupidly placed start button.

Voice contro works well for the MG4 Trophy, not sure if the work for the MG3, but it would be strange if they did not? As well as the button I activate by saying Hi MG. Commands have been identified in the following post

To clarify, as far as I know, it is not known how to access the hidden menu on the SE, only the Trophy. Thus, I surmise the Trophy code cannot be guaranteed to work if access to a keypad becomes known.

I might give it a try next time I HAVE to go out in it, but but it pops up some message about it only works with the phone.

I would be great though, but I assume if it did we would have heard about it.

I did try the hidden stuff yesterday.

I talked to it using several phrases, I shouted at it, I tried combinations of buttons and the mic.


Nothing happened.
