What was the size of the USB stick? The max size is 32gb to function, had the same problem cause i had only bigger sticks.... So i bought a new 32gb one only for the updates.

I saw somewhere a post that the Motor is capped @ 250 Nm for a longer lifespan but they are normally @320 Nm so maybe some stage1 tuning later can remove the capped software?

There is always a difference off 6 months between normal so the Q2 will be 6 months newer :) and take a few min to update. I am waiting for the 2023 update, cause here in Belgium there were a lot new roads constructed in the last 6 months.

What version of the MG4 do you have m8? Trophy/Luxury can adjust the charge level I think the SE can't... Correct me if I am wrong.

Just called the dealer for more information about the R40 software and still not available in Belgium for the moment... The latest is still R33 for the moment.

I have no card received even only a charge card here in Belgium it is from Eneco where MG works together, but you need to select your country in de mobile app and then you see the number you need to call for assistance.

That would be nice, and will pay for that 88€ for that upgrade np :)

If you have the info on which hardware modules need to be updated can you share please?

Correct, i have a smart charger Smappee EV Wall and it balance every time i charge the battery. I see the end time of charging and after that I takes the time to balance the cells.

Talked to the dealer yesterday and he was just finished a meeting with MG and he told me that the R40 will not retrofit to the older R33 MG4's .... I'll hope this is not the final answer ! Could someone confirm this please ? I also saw that the new 2023 will get delivered with the R33 software...

I rest my case battery's are made to charge full so i charge always to 100% my Luxury, maybe this will give after more years a little more degradation but cars goes away every 5 years. My iPhone i charge always every day full has the same chemical battery so now 4 years without almost any loss...

Don't think the R40 will come to the SE cause they have other software versions then the Trophy/Luxury R33 will be changed with the R40 normally later this year, the dealer told me but MG needs to give the green light for it first.

They're still testing the R40 software, I was yesterday @ the dealer and there was someone from MG and they didn't give the green light to install the R40 already.
