XPOWER owners - please give your opinion on an Xpower Sub Forum

There’s quite a few XPower owners on here now and given the difference in our cars with

• AWD
• 435bhp
• stiffer suspension
• 18" alloy wheels
• upgraded brakes
• torque vectoring
• etc etc

there appears to be quite a lot we want to discuss that aren’t applicable to other MG4s.

As such I have requested a separate Sub Forum titled "Xpower Discussion" to be created in the official suggestion forum here :

This would keep our "specific to Xpower" discussions together, but not only that it would allow potential and new Xpower owners the opportunity to view Xpower specific information all in one place, so making Xpower things much easier to find.

Obviously this would still be accessible for all to view and all to comment on still, and likewise we would still post more general chat in the main MG4 forum, so no one would lose out. It would IMHO just tidy up the forum a little bit.

The location of a Sub Forum would be here (just above or below the existing Sub Forum called "MG4 Upgrades & Accessories"

I believe that this one has to go to a higher power than a mere moderator like myself. I think the idea has merit, so I've reported your post to get Stuart's attention.

I think we all agree that too much splintering of forums is also a bad thing. But the XPower seems "more different" to me than say a Trophy or a Long Range.

Other XPower members, chime in with your opinion, for or against; it may sway the decision.

Something "We" have said all along.

The vast majority of X Power owners are ex Boy Racers (Now "Old Bald Racers" in my case) and we come from a lifetime spent owning and enjoying all manner of performance cars and would appreciate a separate place to keep our discussions.

There are a lot of differences with our cars, as has been mentioned up above by @JonnyG and as such, it would be better all kept in one place, instead of being spread out amongst the whole forum.

The odd snide comment (in our direction) notwithstanding, we, by buying the XPower are showing our environmental credentials and trying to do something to save the planet we all live on.

This is just my opinion, and I do not speak for anyone else.
I think we're all doomed to be honest and have left it far to late, but that is also just my opinion.

I need somewhere to put my racing driver credentials and incoming track day pictures, and a seperate sub forum will do nicely.
