I am booked in tomorrow at the dealership for them to check the oil leak and fit the breather if this is the issue. They actually have the part in stock so no need to wait for it coming in. They will also take another look at the seats and report back to MG UK for them to decide on a way forward.

I try and keep positive about the car as it’s a nice drive and looks great. But it just boils yeah blood when obvious stuff like this are overlooked. onwards and upwards.

MG4 SE Seat Fabric. I picked up my car last week and noticed the fabric on all the seat are creased. I reported this to the dealership as defects at the time and needs rectifying. They are hoping they will ‘iron out’ over time and if not it will be looked into. I am optimistic about this...

I will wait and see what the dealership come back with. Make sure it is the transmission gearbox issue. Then email MG for their take on it.
