With all the issues people (including myself) have had when updates have been applied requiring either lower versions or reinstalls i doubt they will enable ota updates any time soon.

Had the issue with my left star button. They had to downgrade and upgrade again to R33 to fix it.

Home button did the trick.

Got in the car and the main display got as far as showing the MG logo and crashed. Now stuck on the MG logo even after locking the car and leaving it. Is there a way to do a force reset on the display?

In terms of the older software they said they were able to try the downgrade as they found a USB with an older version on it. This leads me to believe they may only have access to the latest versions from MG.

Its a leased vehicle. The MG garage contacted the company who holds the maintenance contract but they refused to cover the upgrade. I am going to contact the lease company tomorrow to see what they can do.

They ended up downgrading and upgrading the software which appears to have resolved the issues. One thing they did find is most of the cars ECU's were not coded to the car or upgraded before it left the original dealership. To upgraded them after the fact they have quoted me £260. Not going to...

Sooo i think i have fixed it. It was set to all doors so i changed them both to driver, powered off the car, started it again and switched it back. So far today it seems to be behaving.

When you drive it locks all the doors and when i get out it only unlocks the drivers door and none of the others.

Will give that a go and let you know :)

When exiting the car and pushing the button it appears to unlock all the other doors rather than locking them which it it use to do. If you push it a 2nd time it then locks the doors.

It is set to all doors.

Took mine in for its first year service and they fitted an undertray support bar as part of it. So they must know about the issue as it wasn't something i raised.
