I reported mine to my dealer as soon as I spotted it. They had it for a week and then let me continue to drive, while awaiting the new breather. I called this week, and was told it hadn’t been authorised by MG yet! So will be pushing for some action next week, and still haven’t had my mats yet...

Hi, just had my first warning, low tyre pressure. no problem I thought, I have a 12v compressor in the boot from my last car. Nowhere to plug it in?? no accessory socket in the MG4, as far as I can see. Is there a fix for this missing socket? sorted thanks.

That’s amazing, I can’t get my dealer to even return my calls and emails. It took them 3 days to sort me a courtesy car after they impounded my trophy.

That would presume they are aware of the fault, but so far no mention of any fault or fix from MG

Exactly, I’m trying to get in touch with the technician.. I don’t want to wait 3 weeks for the same part! I might tell them to keep their faulty car, give me my money back( paid in full!) and my Audi I traded in, and put a deposit on the next available car.

Mine is at Leicester MG at the moment for the oil leaky problem, they have now kept it and ordered new parts! New breather tube on order ( 3 weeks). I’ll take that with a pinch of salt. Why does a brand new car need new parts anyway? Still waiting for hire car. Completely stitched up by MG...

Actually thinking about the last post regarding the Mulan’s, perhaps the exported cars are wax oiled to prevent corrosion. This could start melting when the casings get hot? But if that’s the case, why start replacing oil?

The thing I can’t understand, they have already sold thousands of Mulan’s In China, presumably from the same factory, but not a hint of problems, how can that be? Maybe they keep a lid on it over there.
