Surely if this is a serious problem, the dealers should be contacting all the customers to review the vehicles, not everyone crawling under your cars to look for evidence. Not everyone reads these forums. I think it’s very embarrassing for the dealers and the poor folk who have spent a fortune...

Used the hairdryer as suggested, came off without any problems. Just wish I could sort the iSMART app now. Won’t bond with my car and phone number not recognised. Dealer visit today got me no where.

I have 7 year warranty and dealer stickers on the inside of my rear window, over the heating element. Has anyone moved these to a more suitable location, or removed them completely?

I think the Bluetooth Connection was done at handover. just couldn’t get the QR code bit to send the activation code. I can get the activation code now( which expires after 7minutes). Just don’t know what to do with it once I have it. The app isn’t mentioned anywhere in the manual.

Hi, collected my trophy yesterday, but salesperson didn’t connect my phone to the car. Said the activation codes were taking some time to appear. Once home tried again and realised had to input phone number without the leading zero. Anyway got the code, but don’t know where to go from there...

Had a first test drive at my dealer today (Trophy) Very impressed overall, rush hour traffic didn’t help though, and with the manager sat in the back seat, felt like I was on my driving test. Couldn’t tell me when my order would likely arrive, seems odd as some customers get a delivery date...

From what we initially heard, there were 1000 vehicles already in the uk before the books even opened. I don’t think it unreasonable to expect the dealers knew what they were getting before they took money from customers. But it is what it is, a bit of a lottery.

It all seems to be slipping down the MZ EV route to me, I could be wrong ( hopefully) as I ordered one of those, and never got that either. I put £1000 down on a MG4 Trophy, but haven’t heard anything yet. I think they are letting people test drive cars that aren’t available.

Has anyone, anywhere, been able to get a trophy LR, or have MG shafted everyone in the country…..?

As far as I know, I have an Orange trophy on order, but after reading these horror stories, who knows what I’ll end up with. Seems like MG have cocked it up again big time. After seeing the European launch videos of them saying how fantastic the sales figures are, I think it’s very misleading...

The ZS EV manual shows jacking points for use with a scissor jack like on regular vehicles, I assume there is a jack in the toolkit. No reason not to expect the same with the MG4?

The offending birds are house martins which nest in eaves, way up in the roof. Far out of the reach of any cat! Incidentally, the nest fell down this morning. So that’s it for another year, but I’m sure they will be back. So not a priority at the moment.

I agree, looking in through the back, the seats look a bit like a kit car! I hope it doesn’t fall apart after 6 months.
