I do not see a cruise control shaft on the steering column - which is a good thing. I’d be interested to know (or see) the size of the boot when the base is lowered on the TrophyLR. Also, no news on a tow bar for bikes at the moment. Hoping to see one at the motor show in a couple of weeks!

The Cupra Born v1 seems to be ~2k more than the MG4 TLR and possibly available. It's a tough call.

Have been rapid charging BP Pulse 150kW with our rental mk2 LR from July - today charged to 80 and then added an extra 3% with a cancel on the infotainment screen. It is a big concern but so far so good. Edit: car built at the end of March22 and PDI early July

I was driving at the time with cruise control (ACC) and a few messages flashed up about being disabled, but then 5s later all was well. No low battery as we were on 75% or thereabouts.

Had the same yesterday on our April built/July collected, along with ACC disabled…

Coming from a lowered 3-series BMW M-sport estate the rear wheel drive of the MG4, 50:50 weight ratio and updated tech, along with the expected uprated towing capacities for bikes etc. is a pull over the ZS. We could add a storage box on the tow bar/roof box for the longer journeys. However...

Was rather worried about the whole scenario but so far, so good with our hired ZS mk2 LR - 1x 7kW (stopped on infotainment screen), 1x 50kW and 1x150kW BP Pulse chargers with no problem letting the car stop at 80% naturally. Car in ready mode both times for air con etc.

Just tested the USB-C in our hired MK2 ZS SE LR and no joy charging an iPad Air 4 front or back using the Apple cable :( Edit: I note that the USB-A can charge our iPad Pro no problem

According to the news there are thousands of Teslas sitting in Shanghai waiting for shipment, making up about 50% of new car shipments - so it's quite possible that MG and others are also waiting in the car park whether for parts to complete then ship or otherwise...

Did you upgrade to the latest firmware? 4.1.10? Edit: checked release notes and not much change. I have both adapters to test on the 25th.

I'm not a fan of dark interiors and prefer the white/black contrast mix, but it looks as though they may have a pano roof option at least.
