You don't loose voltage with degradation etc. You only loose voltage if not very balanced. And potentially if the car is under any load. After fully charged/balanced, start the car without the brake pedal pressed, then check the voltage.

FYI, Regen puts a lot of energy back into the system, I was very surprised. I've several journeys logged using obd2 apps and I think it was over 10% of energy used was from regen.
