Thats what I've done to the rears - front are still at 6mm - bought 'semi' new tyres off here from members, and just got them changed locally - I also changed the TPMS sensors to programable ones (Autel) - the tyres were around £25, TPMS ~ £20 , and fitting ~£20 (per corner) = happy days!

Whats wrong with it? - as they will only update software if you highlight a problem at the next service, mines having a 2 yr service next week and we agreed to do no updates (as my LKA defaults to off, and I can live with the 4 degree temperature offset)

My problem was the granny charger(s) were not 10A, but 12A - hence why I said that the MG4 was fussy. Never had another issue once I got a genuine MG charger.

Apologies for not being clear, this was a 'granny charger' that plugs directly into the mains- I tried 2 different ones, the only one that worked when away from home was one of these.

... It's a statement of fact. When my MG4 arrived, it came with a 7kW type 2 cable. However the 1st 3 months 10/22-01/23 was a complete nightmare, away from home, as the car would only charge very intermittently (1 every 10 goes maybe?) when using a non-genuine EVSE charger.

See Non-Charging The MG4 is very fussy with EVSE charger type, thus only use a genuine MG one and you'll never have an issue again.

You can also create a user defined battery size & charge rate, on the Ohme app. I don’t like 7kW going in overnight, so have reduced the max charge rate to 3.84 kW.

Sounds like they have just disconnected the 12v ? (their so-called factory reset), and not fully tightened up the connectors again.

The new ones will probably be intermingled into MG4 pricing, so would expect that the new MG5 to be similar to what it was about 6 months ago, but as most folk purchase on PCP then who knows. For those who buy outright, I reckon + 2-3K from the equivalent MG4 model.
