I've had my ZS for over 2 years and never had a message telling me to slow charge, although 95% of charging is done at home at 7kW. I often wonder if it needs one and is not telling me.

I always use Google maps. Even if you don't have the connect version the talk button on the steering wheel will bring up the google assistant and you can tell it where you want to go or even play music if you have Spotify.

Taking your foot off the accelerator will start the regen process depending on what level you have set, level 3 will be the harshest 2 lower and 1 lower still. pressing the brake pedal has not effect on regen, you will slow down as you are applying the friction brakes. The only problem I have is the lack of headrest rake adjustment, I find a tad too close to my head. The rest is fine I have no problems with comfort on long journeys.

I got it at my second service where the garage changed he brake fluid. So it was expected.

With all the comments on here about MG ZS issues with Tesla, has anyone successfully charged their Mk 2 ZS EV at an open to all supercharger? I'm asking for the Holidays down to the New Forrest so I can avoid all the high priced rip-off CPOs.

My Mk2 uses the air con to cool and a resistive electric heater element in the airflow to heat the incoming air. The climate control balances to two systems the control the temperature to the set value.

I drive mine like a normal ICE car, Normal mode Climate control on set at 22C and average throughout the year at 3.5 m/kWh. It's too much trouble to hypermile and be cold. It still works out at 2.7 p/mile (Octopus GO 9p a kWh for 4 hours overnight) I'm saving loads against an ICE car.

After 2 years and 22,000 mile I've lost 3mm of tread. I drive normally so don't take it easy, so that makes it about about 7,000 miles per mm tread, so from 8mm new to 2 when replaced that's about 42,000 miles. The tyres are Michelin Premacy 3's factory fitted.

Someone reversed into me when I was parked and his towbar took out the sensor. Was in the shop for nearly 3 months waiting for parts and then had to be calibrated by an MG engineer.

I've just had my second service and part of it was the "Tesla fix" included in the price. I mentioned to them that there were all sorts of bugs in the infotainment system and the tech checked and I was on R19 so he booked me in for an update. I'm now on R23 and up to now it's far better. Also...

My old Lexus RX450H used to drop out of ACC when the wipers went onto high speed, this was a "safety feature" according to Lexus.

Just took my car ( 2022 ZS TL) for it's second service, Chap told me there was an update to the CCU but said the letter from SAIC MG said that there was no guarantee it would work and that you should find another charger. Not good.

I've not got mine to work yet, will have to try harder, although who knows with this abominably rubbish software that SAIC call infotainment. Not much info and not at all entertaining.

Voice button only works on the Connect variant. I just press the microphone button on the AA screen, works fine then.
