cost to replace the front bumper?

There are plenty of places out there that do plastic bumper repairs which will be much cheaper. I had a chap roll back into my front and pushed the radar sensor back with his towbar, didn't look much, in fact it was hardly noticeable. I was at least 2 months waiting for parts from China. must...

    Internet not working

The MG server is down for me here at the moment. I usually goes down just when you need it. I have wall to wall sunshine here so tried to start a charge to get some free electron but had to start the car to do it. NOT GOOD MG.

    Getting Steamy

Keep the aircon on all the time, I set the temp to 22C and only get fogging on the front screen which is very quickly removed by a quick blast of front defrost.

    what's the lowest % battery you've gone to on a trip ?

Just been to Bury from Morecambe, 110 miles, set off with 73% and got back with 14% that's the lowest I've ever had it. Cost me all of £3 in electric. Charge tonight and tomorrow at 9p a kWh to get back to 80%.

    Charging speeds and software updates.

Not every Tesla supercharger is open to all EVs, the new level 4 chargers will be but there are very few of those installed yet. As others have said it might say 22kW but that's for a car that can use 3 phase which yours can't, also when charging on a DC rapid don't expect to get 150 kW, the car...

    ACC vs Traffic Jam Assist

I only use it on good dual carriageways and motorways, anywhere else it can't seem to cope. I still use ACC though as often as I can.

    Scheduled Charging- Health mode setting(SOC)

This is not a problem for the SR cars. If you have a standard range ZS then the battery chemistry is different from the LR. SR uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries in it's pack and these can be charged to 100% without affecting battery health. The LR has Lithium Ion cells (NMC) which if...

    ACC vs Traffic Jam Assist

I use the double pull of the ACC stalk all the time on motorways it's a bit like Tesla autopilot but not as cleaver, it keeps you centred between the lane marking relatively well and follows the vehicle in front at a set distance according to your speed. Just using ACC alone and the car will...

Is it the fan or a/c that reduces range

Quite frankly I never try to eek out the last mile /kWh from the car, I always drive in normal mode and never turn off the climate control which is set a 22. When you can charge at off peak rates meaning that it costs 2p a mile who cares, I'd sooner be comfortable. Yes I tend to drive a little...

Electric Driving Efficiency over 1000 Miles

Over the last 5000 miles my Trophy LR average is 3.8 m/kWh.

Is it the fan or a/c that reduces range

Neither the fan nor the A/C use a lot of power, it's the resistive heating element that saps your range. It's rated at around 1 kW.

Cruise control unable to maintain speed

The software is programmed to slow you down when you turn a corner, the sharper the turn the more it will slow you.

    Warning beeps when parking

Yes that's right there are no ultrasonic sensors on the front of the car, but you do have the camera which switches to forward view when D is selected after reversing.

    ACC and sensors knocked out

I've had it a couple of times, on reason or locality the same As you say resets after a power cycle.

Cruise control unable to maintain speed

KERS isn't used in ACC, it uses the brakes to slow down. My car doesn't stray by more than 1 mph from the set speed.

Deactivate Traffic Jam Assistance (TJA) while keeping ACC on?

I don't want to disable it, just switch it off without having to totally cancel ACC.
