Warning beeps when parking

When I am reversing into a parking space the car starts to beep when you encounter an object i.e. another car appearing in the yellow or red lines. However when moving forward to straighten up in the parking space the car does not beep as you get closer to the car in front. So my question is should the car beep when moving forwardand an object appears in the yellow and red lines? I have looked in the car manual but cannot see any explanation of whether the car should beep when moving forward as it does when reversing.

I believe there are only sensors on the rear of the vehicle which is the warning sound

Yes that's right there are no ultrasonic sensors on the front of the car, but you do have the camera which switches to forward view when D is selected after reversing.
