Yep agree. I followed the space saver thread with people buying VW and Mercedes wheels. As much as I begrudge paying £259 for a space saver it would be a heck more expensive if I was in an accident with a cheap wheel solution and insurance didn't pay out.

Mmm this seems to be quite common from MG dealers in saying the update will have been done at the factory or the port. Got mine end of Dec and no light coming on under KERS3. Dealers are either clueless or just don't want the overhead in doing the work. Maybe it's an MG thing.

Ohme support seems very good. There was a problem with the app and it was fixed within a day or two.

Unfortunately, no you cannot see the state of charge on the screen. Because... The Ohme Pro cannot communicate to the MG5 as MG has not provided means for external communications. It is said the Ohme reverts to a dumb charger but I'd rather describe it as semi-dumb or semi-smart as it can be...

Thanks for the mostly helpful replies. KERS3 is pushed as a feature to slow the car when lifting off. I'll find out soon enough as there is a fast exiting fork junction off the A158 which is a muddy icey lane with an adverse camber. Braking here is always fraught.

Yes they did. It's the where the plug is located, I just didn't coil it up. It can be seen if zoomed in. I might relocate the holder as it's a bit crowded.
