My Type 2 cable sits in the left hand pocket in the boot. Makes it easy to get at without having to lift anything out of the boot.

RapidGate. No battery thermal management. Absolutely no good for long trips that require more than one rapid charge. Overheat even in UK summer. Very quickly goes into reduced power mode when it overheats. I know, I had one. Nissan took it back.

Once your batteries are full any excess goes to the grid if you have a grid-tied system. If you have an off-grid system it is lost into the ether.

Yep. Works fine. I stopped for a bite to eat at a truck stop that had poor reception on my phone so I could not get to my emails. Connected my PC to the in-car Wifi and all was great :-)

Still needs different hardware to convert DC to AC than AC to DC.

Add WiFi Hotspot to that. Allows others to piggyback onto the car’s WiFi.

Less than what I just paid to fill my Range Rover with diesel, a lot less !
