I started to move the car on my drive without letting all the screens start up. It allowed me to move the car forwards and backwards till the infotainment screen started then it locked the car and wouldn't let it move either way till the seatbelt was fastened.
This is such an annoying feature bug. It's ridiculous that you can't reverse two feet up the bloody drive without using the seat belt. This is nannying gone mad.
London probably has well defined lane markings. In my part of the world, the roads have deteriorated to an astonishing degree in the last decade. There are potholes and cracks all over the place and half the lines have been badly eroded so the LKA has no idea what it's looking at - TBH I have no...
Seems to work well enough with my Motorola G62. You need a good quality cable with well made plugs though - any movement in the socket and it drops instantly. It's strange how sensitive it is. Had the same issue with my Focus ST.
Heh, flying phone isn't an issue for me. My phone doesn't have wireless charging so I have no reason to use that strange little tray.
The software is poor though, that can't be denied. It feels like a dozen different people were involved in developing discrete parts of the package and none of...
Make sure it's a good quality cable as well, they tend to have better plugs. If there's any movement of the plug in either port, it'll upset Android Auto - I had this issue with my Focus ST for months before I found a cable that had a decent tight fitting plug on both ends...
Almost everyone reverses out of their drive. I've only seen two cars actually facing forwards on a drive on my road - mine and the one opposite. I'm lucky with my drive, it's almost the full width of the house so I can drive in, turn the car around and drive back out again. I don't like...
Oh boy - I've only had the car a few days and I already have a rant prepared...
LKA (steering interference) and that laughably useless speed limit recognition nonsense are re-enabled when you put your foot on the brake pedal. I turn LKA off because it reacts to almost everything on the road...
The car does look nice in grey. That was my second choice. I really wanted a white one and was lucky enough to find one not too far away sitting at a dealer waiting for someone to buy it.
I'd use it if it was possible to configure the thing to just use side/rear lights or the reversing lights. I park on the drive with the front of the car facing the road, I don't want the headlights shooting across the road unnecessarily.
I slow right down for roundabouts, you can never tell what people are going to do. I've had people stop and wait for me before I'm even on the roundabout while others charge across right in front of me with barely a few feet to spare.
