Morning Keith. Not sure about the bus lane, I'll try to take note of my surroundings if, (when), it happens again. I did find a setting for this when it first happened, but like a lot of settings, it's got lost in the mist of time.

Good morning Ann. Unlike you, I've not had any problems with my MG3, but I do agree that various things are inconsistent. Settings change for no apparent reason, the satnav is sometimes ok, sometimes not; speed limit recognition is haphazard and warning bleeps, chirps and ear-splitting yelps...

Thanks gian. Although I do have the overall sound at a low volume, this particular chirp overides all other sounds. I'm not sure it's a camera warning because I pass quite a few in my area. I wonder do all cameras give the same warning sound, or is there a certain type that causes a different alarm?

A funny thing happened to me today...The distance remaining showed 260 miles at the start this morning. After driving about 18 to 20 miles it showed 270 miles remaining! Later, when I arrived home it was showing 259 miles. Am I going mad?

Panic over, Clive. It was protective film. I also found a couple of other areas with film on them, but none on the screens or gear selector surround, as you did. I suspect the original surfaces were all protected in this way and the pre-delivery check or final cleaner missed a few odd bits.
