Would you have another MG after the MG4 ?

For me these days it's more about the dealer and the customer service than the badge. The car has to feel right but you need someone who will look after the car and you. This is my first lease car and the fact you have zero control over anything to do with it makes it a much less personal...

    MG4 Xpower times vs battery

It is interesting that you get more oomph with more fuel with an EV which is the opposite of an ICE car which will be lighter (so faster 0-60) with less fuel. 60 litres of petrol around 50kg

All Cyberster press reviews (videos/links inside and no comments, please)

Another review where they just have nothing to compare it with, so they compare it with ICE 2 seaters

    Advice for EV newbie please

I have seen it change range at different times in a journey not just the start. I guess it depends on the ambient temp and if the heater or A/C compressor is having to cycle to maintain cabin temp.

    Advice for EV newbie please

In case of emergency, turning off the HVAC will gain 5-10 miles range, just makes all the windows steam up in colder/damper conditions

Do you like a car with a rear wash/wipe Then 2nd edition is for you as that is one of the main differences

Why do MG4's have very high second-hand prices (UK)?

Of course this price juggling is not just MG. Where I work just started offering Costco memberships. As a Costco member there is a (claimed) £9,000 saving on the price of a new Renault Megane e-tech

Does anybody recognize this one? (MG Clive's MG4)

Is that because she can detect the vibes from the passenger seat or just hears the stream of expletives from you every time it happens

    Advice for EV newbie please

In my experience these are just stories and if you are going to use public chargers on a regular basis you will be able to add 100 miles range in the time it takes to walk from the car to the service area toilets and back (15 - 20 minutes). If you use a network like Tesla where the cars and the...

Why do MG4's have very high second-hand prices (UK)?

And the daft thing is any business user will get charged BIK on the RRP of £37,000 not the price they had to pay.

    MG4 Software Update Thread

The thing is the manufacturer has identified enough of an issue with a previous version of the software that they have generated a new version to correct that issue. Just because you have never encountered the issue does not mean you won't in the future That is like saying, we are not going to...

Does anybody recognize this one? (MG Clive's MG4)

The vibes are through the steering wheel (so a passenger wouldn't know) it's a similar sensation to using some power tools, e.g. a sander ,where you feel the vibration, and varies in intensity depending on road surface, speed, tyre pressure and luck of the draw (as MG have no definitive cause or...

Why do MG4's have very high second-hand prices (UK)?

As everyone else has said, it is not that used prices are strangely high. It is that new prices are strangely low. You can pick up a brand new XPower for £30,000 rather than the £37,000 list price. Used one will go for anything from £23,000

    MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65 to 75mph

In this case I would be writing back and asking why this is not part of the press release or spec sheet for the characteristics of the range topping high powered Cyberster or for any high powered vehicle, not seen it on any Ferrari, Lambo, Aston, Merc. McLaren etc etc etc specs....buy our new...
