I have had my 2021 ZSEV now for two months, everything seems to be going well. But, I have noticed that some of the ZSEV's have a pilot badge on the left rear of the car. Does anyone know why the vehicle badging differs?
Apart from the legal and insurance issue, is there anything that would preclude the MGZSEV from towing a trailer (Total weight 500kgs)? Opinions would be appreciated.
Sorry, found my answer under accessories. Thanks
I usually use eco and haven't often strayed into normal (except when I forget to move to eco) but is it a matter of pushing the throttle harder to achieve the same performance as sports?
Just a quick question. Is the difference between Eco, Normal and sports, simple a matter of throttle response, sensitivity, or is there something else happening?
Based on what I have read on this forum there seems to be solid support from a number of Governments for the purchase of EV's, including support for the installation of home chargers. In Australia there is no Government support for EV's, in fact, there are a number of states which are planning...
I have owned the MG ZS EV for just over a month. I have charged it, two maybe three times a week. It has never been below 25% and the highest charge has been about 91%. In the experience of the forum is it better to wait for the car to tell me it needs an equalising charge, or should I leave...
I am told, by those who are in the know, the tyres that come with the vehicle are top quality. Looks like MG made a serious effort to provide a quality product.
MG ZS EV's haven't been out as long in Australia as they have been in other places, particularly in GB. There is very little information about their endurance. Based on the experience of the forum, what is the greatest number of (kilometers/miles) an MG ZS EV has travelled (relatively trouble...
Funny you mention that, the Mini Pro (EVSE) was my first choice, but then a number of reviews indicated the timer function was not very reliable and that was the main reason for its consideration.
The solar usage facility was also enticing, (again reviews indicated this function could also be...
In Australia the domestic power circuits are 10amps - 240 volts The granny charger is limited to 8 amps thus we only have 1920 watts available to charge. I charge overnight and generally my power consumption has increased about 1600 watts per hour for the ten hours I am charging. For me that...
The granny charger provided with the car is limited to 8amps even though it is plugged into our basic domestic system here being 10am - 240 volts. Not sure why it is limited but there must be a reason?
Thanks for the feedback. Where I come from there are very few EV owners (distance is a big issue here). Getting information about the car is from an owner is rare. Thanks again - just as a matter of interest how long have you had the MG ZS EV and how many kilometers/miles have you done?
I have recently purchased a MG ZS EV and have been trying to learn about it. Currently I charge with the Granny charger provided with the car. It takes a long time to charge, although normally I am in no hurry. A number of articles recommend you do not charge to 100% - is this the case, or...
