MG4 delivered in March: original continental tires are OK however, I do agree with you; they're a bit poor on what I was expecting.
7000 miles in (on the MG4) and still quite a bit of tread left. The MG4 is a lease car, so it'll be up to Tusker what they put on the thing
I do, however, have...
I've also added these! A721S. £18 with Trade card from Halfords. Fit snug I would say. Main wiper seems to be about 0.5cm shorter (as you can see the difference of stroke on the glass)
My MG4 is making a terrible chirp at the minute and really winding me up. Dealer phoned me to say that you can stop the noise if you lock the car and turn it off. After some funny conversations, he tried the other MG4s and they sound the same. He passed it off as normal and said there is no way...
Just had my car in the dealership, and they’re refusing to do software updates unless absolute necessary. There is 3 MG 4s that have bricked during updates and are now stood still in the car park! They were saying it’s an absolute mess with the 4.
Dealer said MG flat out rejected and said it was our fault. Unfortunately I am probably one of the first few so; I’m the training data for the ones that get accepted
Dealer was amazed; part arrived just after two weeks. All fitted now.
Just an FYI: You must keep the bolts / plastic covers as this doesn’t come with the new foot rest!
Seen some of these covered by MG Warranty and some not. Mine was not.
I think there is a bug; as the app thinks the target is 80% but the car sets to 100%. As I said previously, this only happens when I go into the charging menu in the car … it will reset it back to 100%. So if you do go into the settings (in the car), load your phone app and reset it back to 80%...
To be honest, it looks like your app hasn’t synced properly on the screenshot you posted: make sure you can see the battery %.
If I physically go into the car and then into the charging settings … it somehow resets the % target to 100. So every time I open the charging settings in the car, I...
No problems :) You've got to remember that because the MG and Ohme do not have API integration ... the OHP is then a dumb charger that adds a set % every night during the cheap hours of 2330 - 0530.
My setup:
Manage all scheduling via OHP, not the MG.
MG:
In the Ismart app, set the battery...
This is correct sir. Turned off ELK for the journey just gone and it was fine. I’ve found that it goes whacky when: the road is not flat and it’s slightly hilly, the sun is shining at camera, it’s raining. Flat straight A road? Yeah it’s grand.
This is actually very interesting because you can manage how fast the car is charged with the Ohme Home Pro.
With intelligent octopus, I charge between the hours of 2330 and 0530. So, I normally set a target (of +30-40%) and the OHP spreads it over that time period.
The OHP also has a...
I've paid for a car with those features: they should work as expected. Also, I do over 20k miles a year, mainly four trips a day. Do I want to go into the settings every time and turn it off? No.
New part on order at MG4. They have ordered the part today, so I'll post back when it's in stock. Dealer said it could be anywhere between 1 and 3 months.
