I know the battery works better when warm, so I’d have expected better m/kWh during winter. I only got 2.3 for December, but with a warmer battery could I get 3.5 or more? I’ll try it this coming winter and report back.

I got 4.8 for June. Mostly town driving. Hoping to be on for 5.0 this month. Question, has anyone set battery heater to on every time they use their car? Do you gain extra m/kWh? And what temperature does it heat the battery to?

I’m pretty sure on my pre-facelift MG5 you can reset the radio (press and hold in the volume button for about 10 seconds) or exit the maintenance (CANBUS) screen and the audio for the indicators stops even though the lights are still blinking.

I’ve found myself man-spreading, resting my left knee against the centre console. I’ve gotten used to it after a year and half ownership and find it odd when when I get in our second car (2013 Smart4Two auto) and the foot rest is miles away!

Got 90.9kW today on a new MFG 150kW charger. Pre-facelift MG5 LR Exclusive.

For my own sanity I headed to a pretty new MFG site (Collier Row) and the HPC worked straight away first time and had the highest throughput I’ve ever seen for my MG5. 90.9kW!

I understand that. Haven’t needed to use them very often. The MG5 can cover the miles, but had planned a trip over on the continent (later this year) based on stops at Tesla SC’s. Gonna have to re-plan and hope other brands don’t stop supporting MG’s.

I have previously charged my MG5 in Birmingham.

Tried 3 Tesla SC’s at Lakeside today. No joy. Also for the last few months I’ve not been able to charge my MG5 at Gridserve HPC units. Makes it difficult to think of doing long journeys.

My system went through a regular reboot cycle. It ended up being that the central power button was getting stuck in. I only noticed when turning the volume knob and the centre button popped out.

Still no internal rear light, no sunroof and the steering wheel design hasn’t changed. They’ve added the 360deg camera but that’s already available on the Middle East and East Asia saloon versions at the moment.

All up and running again. I really can’t thank you enough for that. It’s saved me at least two 40 miles round trips to the dealership. Do you know if it’s the same file for the ZS as I’ve seen a load of similar posts on that side? Thanks again.
