Yep, a Moped License (AM) will do.

Which back spoiler will the MG 4 LUXURY be delivered with?

The configurator (test site I assume) was online for about a week, there's also a leaked dealer presentation. In Germany, both larger battery models (Comfort & Luxury) come with 11kW, Heatpump will be on Luxury only.

Nope, both show exactly the same WLTP Results.

MG4 Reviews from various online publications

Europe as a whole certainly expects more than that. I don't recall the number but I believe it was supposed to be around 5000, or even 10? In Germany, they promise 2022 delivery for the first 1000, in France, they took 500 Preorders for 2022, so those three countries alone already exceed 2000.

    essential extras

I'd love to be proven wrong, but I'm afraid this isn't going to work. I've had OBD-HUDs in my last four ICE cars, but they don't get any signal in either of my EVs. There are also HUDs that show the GPS speed, but I guess it'd bother me too much to deal with the delay and it showing something...

    essential extras

The title of this thread is essential "extras", so - yes, I guess I do. If the car disappointed in the areas you mentioned, I wouldn't care about it or its extras in the first place.

    essential extras

So I understand you're looking for personal / subjective essentials? To me it's "Keyless Everything" (Lock and Start), Automatic Climate Control, Auto Headlamps, Auto Wipers, Adaptive Cruise Control, LED Headlamps, Android Auto, Decent Audio all of which should (hopefully) be standard. I...

MG4 - First UK dealer hands on photos and specifications

When I bought my last BMW (520d) in 2012, I negotiated that they'd make sure to leave the proprietary iPhone Cradle (~£100 value I think) inside. I also received a flower bouquet and a bottle of.... something (wine or prosecco?) About 6-12 Months later, when there was no reason to think of the...

    LFP vs Ternary Lithium battery?

Hopefully not. My 2013 Zoe 22kWh still has 96% SOH, my 2017 Ioniq 28kWh has 100% SOH (if it degraded, it likely did so within the manufacturers tolerance)... I may very well be spoilt, but I'd hope for less than 2% degradation per year, particularly with a larger battery.

    MG4 Charging Cables

I'm not aware of Tesla using a different charging Standard (on regular AC / outside of their Superchargers) but even if that was the case - don't get confused by Tesla calling it an Adapter when it isn't. This is a Standard IEC 62196-2 / Mennekes (made by the company that literally designed...

V2L Cars to be in demand?

V2L is very cool, but I just wish MG installed a 220V socket in the car. When I test drove an Ioniq 5, I used a hair dryer while driving, just for giggles. But in the real world, a socket in the car would likely be much more useful to me than V2L outside while stationary. I could charge my...

    MG4 Charging Cables

I don't think AC Chargers are considered "fast", or are they in UK? I wrote a long segment explaining the difference of Type 2 cables, but deleted it again - I guess there are plenty of articles you can google. Bottom line is: Yes, for public chargers you should have a Type 2 cable in your...

    MG4 Charging Cables

If 4m are sufficient for you, Tesla arguably has the best deal on Type 2 Cables. 3 Phase 32A from Mennekes or Defa (I got a Mennekes) for £85 https://shop.tesla.com/en_gb/product/type-2-adapter---32a Edit: I just read "In order to be eligible to purchase this product, you must be a Tesla...

Are MG4s going to be driven by Old Farts!

In general, most new car buyers, because of cost, seem to be from my experience. I'm 37, my two Kids barely need their booster seats (7 & 9) and perhaps I'm more flexible when it comes to 'fitting their kids in the car'. This Summer, we managed to fit everything we needed to go on vacation as...

MG4 Reviews from various online publications

It's neither astounding efficiency, nor (complete) nonsense. My bet is that the value it displays is Miles/kWh and that screen just got lost in translation (we use kWh/100km in Germany / continental europe). Mark Smyth's MG showed 3.0miles/kWh in the driver display.

MG4 Reviews from various online publications

Lack of Torque IMHO. 250 Nm vs 280 Nm in the MG5, 310 Nm in the ID3 / Cupra Born even my Ioniq Classic has 295Nm. In combustion engines, I always loved Turbo-Diesels for their instant torque.
