I recently left my car in Edinburgh airport carpark for 7 weeks. I connected a solar trickle charger through the OBD port. The OBD port is inside the vehicle so no messing about under the bonnet or in the boot. On return eveything was fine. £22ish on Amazon.

Don't know what I did but it's working again now. Still can't get the wireless adapter to work.

Just returned from sunny Thailand. Car left in Edinburgh airport carpark for 7 weeks December/January. I connected a solar trickle charger through the OBD port. On return happy to say battery was healthy, car unlocked and started with absolutely no issues.

Defrosted fine, heated seats on from the app, seems to take a while for the heater to warm up. MPG not as good and not running in EV mode as much.

Further to the previous answers, also when you swipe down from the top of the screen you can turn off Lane keep assist without going into the settings menu.

I also get the weird noise.

Were you near a bus lane? Mine was chirping alongside a bus lane, no buses were using it, I can't find a setting for it in the MG pilot or the satnav settings. No mention of it in the manual either.

It was on so that's possible, however there are a number of roads in my area with a continuous white line on the nearside which do not trigger the annoying beep.

Bus lane was clear.

Yesterday I was for the first time driving alongside a bus lane, (London Road in Carlisle) the whole legnth of the bus lane the car was beeping every few seconds, anyone else had this and does anyone know how/if it can be turned off.

And I thought it was just me that couldn't get the heating right.

For me it was a Mercedes A180 sport in black. Bought new and unseen during the pandemic. Gained: More comfortable, better acceleration, better fuel economy, Lots of extra tech, quieter and possibly a dealership who's interest is in something other than trying to sell you another car. Regret...

Just had a quote for a service plan from dealer. Quoted below. (I have just checked with the service plan team. The 3-year service plan is £952.16 (27.99 a month) and the 4 year service plan is £1471 (33.49 a month) total so it's a slight jump as it will be a bigger service but it isn't close...
