Yeah, I just updated the previous post to tsedge. The car feels very good. Seems they really applied the recall update because I went for a test drive and the infotainment has become more responsive despite remaining on R24. So 😎👍
How do I know if they applied the SCUK077 apart from going for a test drive and intentionally try to pass the lane without blinkers? Is there a way to download the information regarding versions etc.?
But why don't they say it like that? I am more peeved by the fact they said there are no infotainment updates available when I know there are and that they improve it. Also, nowhere on the bill it says they applied the LKA update...
Edit: I went and actually tried quite a few times...
Just got my MG4 64 Luxury MY23 from the dealership after the 2nd regular service. They applied SCUK077 but they said no software updates found for my car so I am stuck on R24?? Are they pulling my leg?
I just remembered a good one.
I LOVE 360°, but is practically useless at night. So I propose:
White LED lighting on the bottom side of wing mirrors to light up the ground and thus parking lines, making the 360° usable at night
120 miles at 70 mph highway speeds, at this time of the year is by my 5000 miles experience with the 64 model for ~80/20, very normal. It is even less than that when well below 0°C.
60% is up to 37 kWh (depending on SOH, temperature and other things)...so average 18 kWh/100 km (3.45 mi/kWh) is...
That's RWD for you. Had a drift on a crossroads the other day. Wet, slimy road and the tail was almost like this gif...caught me by surprise but luckily no cars from the other direction because it was late at night.
That's what I do when it stops connecting automatically. It was annoying at first, before I discovered that workaround and I thought it is completely broken, but then it became "Oh ok...so it'll be like that" 🤷♂️
Experienced this problem myself this morning. Waited a couple of minutes for the sun to shine on the car, but figured that wouldn't do much, because it was still -4°C outside.
So was thinking about what to do...slowly pressed along the edges to break ice (if there was any), then decided to...
If need be, replenish a bit of charge on the way there (plan for this contingency, ABRP app is good for this). Keep yourself warm with AC, battery warm with IBH. The range drops off quite a bit in sub zero temps. Pre-warm the battery with the specified function before you go, so IBH will need to...
Quality of Life improvements:
Enable permanent 360° View: Currently, 360° can be turned ON by putting gear into R when parking in reverse, which is good. It can be turned on even with a button on the second page of the main menu. But there are occasions where having it ON would be superb...
Yeah, charging point shenanigans is one of the banes of EV adoption. Governments should mandate it is mandatory to have their apps compatible with digital payment through Apple/Google/Samsung Pay. No special RFID cards or whatnot.
That is what is most interesting to me...the "EV society"...
For the sake of range, use IBH.
Result of between -3°C and 0°C and forgetting to turn IBH on on the way home... 60% of battery consumed, 135 km done, 24% remaining and 84 km of range. 60% at these temperatures usually gets me close to 200 km with IBH.
My first trip was exactly 500 miles with MG4 64. I recommend you take a look at ABRP plan beforehand. Maybe even, if you have Ionity in your country or any other good, fast (100 kW+) and cheap network and enable looking only for that in your ABRP. I find that with default energy consumption it...
What is MG4 using as sensors for ACC?
If it is using also camera in the nose, the ghosts could (apart from code problems) appear also due to dirty lens cover or reflections from within the module.
What I mean by the latter is it maybe can happen that the camera module sees a reflection on the...
Thanks, I already wasn't resetting it, because I figured it probably knows better, if I let it learn. I am resetting Since Last Charge and Since Start (if they don't reset automatically).
I am actively observing Since Start, because it tells me how I am doing on average in the current ride...
