iSmart App Crash Google Pixel 9 Fold

Just a heads up. The iSmart app was updated 02/03/2025 and a few days later, the March Pixel drop happened. I have both installed on my phone now and the camera is now working in the app. I'm unsure if it was the app update or the feature drop that fixed it, but in the release notes for the...

    Which Model?

I'll just tack onto this thread. I purchased a Trophy, Long Range. However, I did notice that the MG SIAC HomeAssistant integration (GitHub - ad-ha/mg-saic-ha: MG SAIC Custom Integration for Home Assistant) reports the total battery capacity as 72.5 kWh which is higher than the Trophy Long...

iSmart App Crash Google Pixel 9 Fold

The January 2025 update dropped a couple of days ago. From the release notes https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/317406511/google-pixel-update-january-2025?hl=en-GB&sjid=14407457134796595879-EU Fix for issue with camera stability when switching to a connected camera under certain...

Did The MG4 just kill My Charger?

They stripped the cable back by about a foot, everything's good now. Did require moving the charging point though, as the cable wouldn't reach the previous position after that. Given it's armoured cable, I'm glad it didn't all need replacing.

Did The MG4 just kill My Charger?

As an update. New charger, an Evec one has just been fitted & tested. The old one, it would seem had a bad wiring job, so over the course of the past 3 years, it burnt out.

Did The MG4 just kill My Charger?

Exactly what I've just arranged as it happens. Whilst I'm confident enough with messing with plug sockets, light fittings etc. I'll steer clear of messing around with something like this. They'll fully test it too.

Did The MG4 just kill My Charger?

So. I have a Project EV charger, has been installed since August 2021. Has charged my MG5 for the past few years with no bother. Picked up an MG4 this week. Decided to plug it in this morning to give it its first charge. Which was fine, charging from 50%. I did notice, on the iSmart app it was...

iSmart App Crash Google Pixel 9 Fold

There was an update to the app itself yesterday too. Unfortunately, that didn't solve it. Fingers crossed it gets sorted soon, otherwise it looks like you're going to have to borrow someone else's device to bind the car to your account.

iSmart App Crash Google Pixel 9 Fold

Glad to know it's not just me! Though not good for you. Are you on Android 15 with latest feature drop?

iSmart App Crash Google Pixel 9 Fold

That's interesting to know, thanks. Out of interest, which version are you on? I'm on Android 15 with the latest feature drop I've managed to make a screen recording of the problem:

Of course. The device is fully up to date, including both apps/software & firmware.

iSmart App Crash Google Pixel 9 Fold

I think it's something spefic to the phone itself. Sometimes the camera's a bit odd when it comes to certain apps. Firefox for example, thinks the camera is rotated 90 degrees.

iSmart App Crash Google Pixel 9 Fold

Anyone encountered this issue? Collected my shiny new MG4 yesterday, went to pair up the car with iSmart (I'd already set up an account etc) Unfortunately, with my Pixel 9 Pro Fold, everytime I went into the app to scan the QR code - as soon as the camera opened, the app crashed. Bit annoying...

MG5 KERS 3 & Brake Light Operation - Safety Recall?

Couldn't say, all they said on the phone was that the rails need an inspection so they'll do it at the same time.

MG5 KERS 3 & Brake Light Operation - Safety Recall?

Just called my dealer after getting the letter this morning. Can't fit me in until mid-February. Apparently it's going to have the roof rails inspected too at the same time.

    Relay attacks

I would think so. Given that the fob will always be broadcasting, otherwise pressing the button on the door simply wouldn't do anything. I don't tend to worry about it when I'm just pootling around at home. But If I'm down in the South East visiting relatives, or doing a long motorway journey...

    Insurance confusion

Strange, I'm with Co-Op and got my insurance with them for my MG5 no bother. Admittedly it worked out a bit more expensive than I was paying for my Qashqai so I very much doubt I'll be renewing with them next year.

6'3" and looking for advice on MG 5

I'm also 6`3" and have no issues with the 5. I do have to have the seat back as far & as low as possible and the steering wheel fully pulled toward me however, otherwise my knees prevent me from turning the wheel comfortably. I've sat in the back seat behind my fully pulled back driving seat...

Home Charge Point - Project Ev

It does indeed. Well, it'll be more accurate once I put my cost per kWh in at any rate. The screenshot was more intended to illustrate to the OP that charging does indeed stop once the car reaches capacity.
