A mobile application or app is a computer program or software application designed to run on a mobile device such as a phone, tablet, or watch. Mobile applications often stand in contrast to desktop applications which are designed to run on desktop computers, and web applications which run in mobile web browsers rather than directly on the mobile device.
Apps were originally intended for productivity assistance such as email, calendar, and contact databases, but the public demand for apps caused rapid expansion into other areas such as mobile games, factory automation, GPS and location-based services, order-tracking, and ticket purchases, so that there are now millions of apps available. Many apps require Internet access. Apps are generally downloaded from app stores, which are a type of digital distribution platforms.
The term "app", short for "application", has since become very popular; in 2010, it was listed as "Word of the Year" by the American Dialect Society.Apps are broadly classified into three types: native apps, hybrid and web apps. Native applications are designed specifically for a mobile operating system, typically iOS or Android. Web apps are written in HTML5 or CSS and typically run through a browser. Hybrid apps are built using web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5 and function like web apps disguised in a native container.

    Or so it tells me :) To get it to show you chargers on the map you have to tap the three line icon in top right and select all the stuff you want to see. Took me a while to figure that out.

    I have a mg3 hybrid+, the car is currently bound, but none of the functions operate Does anybody know if I delete my i smart account and unbind it, can I register again with the same details. My previous ZS EV had no problems at all The dealer is at a loss.

    App error messages now in Thai!

    My App is now refusing to refresh and show any useful data and the car is in the exact same spot it usually is. Even better the message it now gives is in Thai : การเรียกตำแหน่ง/ข้อมูลรถยนต์ล้มเหลว Aka: "Failed to retrieve vehicle location/information." Anyone else?

    No smartphone for Ohme app

    I have no smartphone but an app to control my Ohme charger is required. Only have a Windows 11 laptop so am stuck. Has anyone an answer for this problem other than to buy a smartphone due to the high cost of smartphones simply to control charging|? There is no smartphone reception in my area.

    My android app updated this morning. According to the app, the updates cover: New Models; New HVAC screen; and Contact details for after sales support. It did work after the update.
