The Multi Media Interface (MMI) system is an in-car user interface media system developed by Audi, and was launched at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show on the Audi Avantissimo concept car. Production MMI was introduced in the second generation Audi A8 D3 in late 2002 and implemented in majority of its latest series of automobiles.

    Message relating to Sat Nav on infotainment screen

    On switching car on this morning I got this message on the infotainment screen. Where is the SD card? I’ve dismissed on this occasion. Satnav still working. Message hasn’t reappeared on any further journeys in car. Anyone else had this message?

    Infotainment screen slow startup

    Drove out of drive the other morning and the infotainment screen didn't come on, complete blank screen although the car drove as usual. About a mile up the road it started up. Car is ten months old and it's not happened before, in fact the cars been faultless.

    MG4 Infotainment Screen, warning about overheating

    Watch out that the infotainment screen does not get too hot in the sunshine, a few times I have lost some of the features due to this getting hot, if I remember I put something over it to protect it.

    MG4 infotainment screen only shows MG

    My MG4 Excite 51 (the cheapest version in Australia) intermittently blanks the infotainment screen and only shows the MG startup logo. Even when the car was locked this screen stayed on for a while. When restarted there were no problems. Any ideas?

    The infotainment screen has gone blank. After reading various posts about this, I pressed the Home Screen for 10 seconds . The MG logo came up on the screen for a little while, but then went blank again. I have just booked the car in, but the earliest date they can offer is 22nd May. Any Ideas...

    So... get in car... everything boots up normally... but then I find I cant adjust the radio volume.... the slider goes up and down but no actual change to the sound. Change channel... same.. change to phone input.. same. Stop car. Turn off. Lock car. Start up again... same issue. Repeat...
