I've been reading about the brakes on an electric vehicle, some complaints about rusting pads and discs due to regenerative braking, is it possible to put gear selector in neutral to polish the rust back off the pads and discs?

Although the inbuilt satnav is reasonable, it drives me up the wall with its 'Recalculating'...'recalculating'! I wouldn't mind if I was driving in some obscure backwoods, but not in well established cities, towns etc. My two Hyundai satnavs were the best I've experienced, so maybe I'm too biased.

I heard an intermittent knock from the rear of the car, after a look in the boot for anything rolling about I noticed that the rear parcel shelf is a loose fitting, I've removed it and will go out shortly to see if problem is fixed

Having done 2.5k miles it seems to have no rhyme or reason to what we are running in at any given time. I can have my foot on the brake approaching a red light and the engine revs up. When driving at a constant speed on level ground, it is forever hunting for the right gear & in and out of EV.

Trying to remotely switch the heating on with Ismart and this warning is coming up and won't let me cancel it to switch it on. Anyone else having this issue?

We have two quotes now, but neither one mentions servicing the EV side of the car, has anyone else had a quote for that. The way I see it is the engine is an engine and can be serviced much cheaper elsewhere so why pay dealer rates.

Something I noticed in today's rainy conditions. The rear wiper works in Park, Neutral, and Drive, but not in REVERSE- when you might actually want it! Talk about daft!!!!

So what will you trade up to after your MG3 Hybrid? Is it a transition step to full EV? Keeping it forever? Switching brands? I am leaning towards trading up to a 2025 MG ES5, full EV, which is based on the MG4 platform. Sticking with MG, I need a bit more room.

Is it just my car but the heated steering wheel is only heating a portion of the wheel and even that is only marginally warm
