    I have a Bluetooth adapter for connecting my Google pixel 8 phone as I couldn't get it to work with the charging/data cable (tried six cables) My issue is the screen goes blank if I have to reverse the car before driving off.     CarPlay dongle help please

    I am looking to buy a CarPlay dongle for my iPhone . I want one that will mirror my screen including Netflix etc but will mainly use for imaps and music. Any suggestions ? Also, if I leave it plugged in when I’m not in the car, will it drain my battery ? Thanks.

    Watch out that the infotainment screen does not get too hot in the sunshine, a few times I have lost some of the features due to this getting hot, if I remember I put something over it to protect it.

    CarPlay

    CarPlay screen goes black sometimes. If you touch the screen it recognises the presses so if you hit the right spot it skips track etc. Pressing home and then back into CarPlay sometimes fixes it other times it doesn’t.     MG4 infotainment screen only shows MG

    My MG4 Excite 51 (the cheapest version in Australia) intermittently blanks the infotainment screen and only shows the MG startup logo. Even when the car was locked this screen stayed on for a while. When restarted there were no problems. Any ideas?

    Infotainment screen has gone blank

    The infotainment screen has gone blank. After reading various posts about this, I pressed the Home Screen for 10 seconds .
