wheels
A wheel is a circular component that is intended to rotate on an axle bearing. The wheel is one of the key components of the wheel and axle which is one of the six simple machines. Wheels, in conjunction with axles, allow heavy objects to be moved easily facilitating movement or transportation while supporting a load, or performing labor in machines. Wheels are also used for other purposes, such as a ship's wheel, steering wheel, potter's wheel and flywheel.
Common examples are found in transport applications. A wheel greatly reduces friction by facilitating motion by rolling together with the use of axles. In order for wheels to rotate, a moment needs to be applied to the wheel about its axis, either by way of gravity or by the application of another external force or torque. Using the wheel, Sumerians invented a contraption that spins clay as a potter shapes it into the desired object.

Popped into my MG dealer to have a second look at the MG4 and arrange a test drive. The Trophy I looked at had 17" wheels. A new one had just arrived outside the showroom with the new 18" wheels. Looked very low profile tyres compared to the ones in the showroom. Concerned about what that will...

According to this report from the Electric Viking in Australia the MG4 comes with far more choices including bigger wheels and one with 77kWh battery and it’s cheaper by some way, but most importantly listen to what he has to say about the dealers almost at the end around 14:35 into the video.

…just a thought - is there a need to remove the wheel covers every so often to clean the alloys beneath? Wondering if a brake dust build up would eat into the surface of them otherwise. Any thoughts on this?
I have just had new 16inch Platin alloy wheels fitted to my MG 5 EV pre-facelift 22 plate, costing £584. This includes locking wheel bolts.
The wheels are nothing special, but are for Summer use with the original Bridgestone tyres. I have Winter snow tyres on the original MG wheels. I live on a...

In the review from WHATCAR ,by Doug Revolta, he shows that the 17 inch alloy wheels , are in fact made of plastic
(see min3:23 )
Is this the case for all models ? SE-SE long range and Throphy long range
Or has e.g the Throphy real alloy weels ?
