100% charging reduced mileage

The thing is, so many threads become taken over by Trophy owners, as I think the majority of posters here have Trophies, or indeed one of the other models with the NMC battery. It's difficult to keep information about the LFP battery from being swamped.

Yes, I fully understand that which is why I didn't add my Trophy tuppence worth. Nonetheless, I still think there is a lot of useful information here about the effect of cold on range and ways of reading your percentage charge that is useful to all, regardless of battery chemistry. There could be LR owners just as concerned about an apparent drop of range as the OP who would gain understanding from this thread (and comfort that nothing was wrong with their car). It would seem a shame if they thought none of it applied to their car. Just my view point.

True. I think the point that the SR, which doesn't have as much range as the LR to start with, is proportionately more affected by the cold, is worth making though.

Certainly nothing wrong with his battery, but it could come as a shock if you weren't expecting it. If you are, you know to plan for additional charging time in winter if necessary, and to think about contingencies in advance. I think the worst thing you could do is to reset the GOM to factory specs and think you've solved the problem and your range is back to summer figures.

I think the best thing to do in winter is to try to find an AC charger to sit on while you do whatever it was you went to do, and also to identify a DC charger on your way home just in case it's looking tight and five or ten minutes on that will get you home in good order.

Can I thank you all for the comments and explanations. I feel much happier now. This forum has some really clever and experienced owners unlike me !!! Thank you all
