MG4 Trophy LR
Hi MG community.
Another question, I have an MG4 Trophy LR 73 plate, UK. The salesman told me charging my phone, and heating the steering wheel and seat were all powered through the 12V battery. I haven't seen any written evidence of this, so can anyone shine a light on this for me? I am skeptical myself, but curious enough to ask.

I tested it I tested the fuse of the F2 and it was indeed 12 volts, but its resolution left me confused

I am yet to understand why cells out of core return batteries couldn't be rebuilt into a 12v battery that would actually last.
I've been doing this with house battery cells from systems where user error caused so much damage to the battery pack, it was a better deal to upgrade the capacity of the cells used to build a new battery pack with a greater capacity.
In my spare time, I test the cells and separate the ones that still have a half life, and build a 12v battery to replace a lead acid battery that has failed in one of my vehicles. Sometimes, a cell will drop below acceptable performance, but it's a simple matter to drop it out and put in one that will do the job and it's back on the road.

I've bought one 12v lead acid battery in the last 15 yrs, that was because I needed to get a vehicle running after the workshop burnt to the ground and I didn't have any used cells on hand .....

All ancillary equipment is powered via your 12v battery, as It would be in a ICE car.
