Abnormal invasion!

Ive had my standard UK long range MG4 for 8 months from new and got a surprising response today.
Car was parked on my drive, I believe locked. Fob in my pocket. I went to open the boot using the button on the hatchback, which I’ve done several times with the vehicle locked, this time the car alarm sounded and I got alerts on my phone saying ‘abnormal invasion ***113 has triggered an alarm’. I stopped the alarm using the fob to lock, then unlocked fine.
Has anyone any idea why this occured?

Mine did it a couple of months ago for no rhyme nor reason.
Not seen that warning since.

Oh and according to the app my cars location was central Berlin!!

You've got to love those alerts.
"Vehicle has started, confirm that you know"

or you go in for a service and 20 mins later:
"Brake system has triggered an alert"
"Airbag system has triggered an alert"

I thought they'd crashed my car on a test drive the first time!

Oh and according to the app my cars location was central Berlin!!

Yeah the map always shows somewhere in Central Europe to start with, before finding the actual location.
