After a series of errors this this is what the MG dealer had to say

Thanks for these thoughts and experiences. ABRP have replied to me and stated that ABRP does not send any data BACK to the OBDLink CX and hence the car. This is, of course, logical. No, for the next 10 days, before our next long journey to Spain, where I shall definitely use ABRP (but not necessarily the OBD device), I shall see what happens.

Question : On another thread the Engineer code was posted allowing us to open up the detailed settings of the car. Of course one would be crazy to touch these but if I wanted to see the error log I wonder where these are to be found ? The MG dealer said that my car had "everything in the red" which is sort of crazy really. Any ideas ?

Again not going to say I’ve investigated the engineering menu but I suspect you’d probably be hard pushed to get “errors” out of that area.

Some high level diagnostics would be needed. Autel support the 4 now and there are people who have got Vcis from china at a good price but need you to buy time on Mg servers.
