Air con stops working in high temps!!

Hi I have a ZS EV I got in April and it’s been mostly ok never had any issues with the air con but when we hit 40 degrees last week the air on stopped working it sounded like whatever runs the air on was over heating and it kept switching off. After that day it seemed fine but today when the temp hit 32 it happened again ??‍ It seems ridiculous to have air con that doesn’t function in high temps. Has anyone else had this problem? Or have any ideas?

Not heard of anything on here. Why not try a dealer. If aircon faulty it will be under warranty.

Hopefully it will have registered some fault codes.

If it's the Gen 1 ZS (2019-2021) then it could be the fan resistor, a known fault by all accounts.

There have been issues with some of the heater resistor failing on the ZS EV Gen 1 models.
Quick fix !.
If this is indeed the problem ( 99% of the time ) then the unit at fault looks like this.

Or just stick it in next to location u live in on the avatar profile like I have then you can see at a glance ?????
