Ambient Light

Just got my new car last week, my exclusive model does not have ambient lighting.
is it an additional optional that I missed out on?

you got the exclusive and cost £31000. If so it is there and only works at night do you also have MG on the floor when you unlock the car at night in red.

Here we go to help you, on the information screen press the car on the bottom row then on the side drop down list press the Comfort & convenience.
now will see Ambient lighting should be on, to the right you see a box for setting press this and will take you to setting page now check the settings see the photos I have include.

one other setting to look at is service following for the radio so as you drive along the radio will auto change the frequency.
press the setting on the bottom row next to car one and press RDS/DAB then scroll down to service follow and check this is on.

I have noticed the red light in the night which is pretty cool but struggled to find the ambient light.
Ill check it out next when I get back in the car.

Hi Jto, I have gone on setting and it looks like I don't have the ambient lightning, I also had a feel to see if there was any led lights but it looks like my car has not got it.

Im just thinking if they have given me the excite model and not the exclusive.

It could just be a software issues. I find the software version on the cars are all over the place.

To tell the difference between Excite and Exclusive. The Exclusive has one piece sports front seats (most obvious), sequential indicators, LED headlights and metal sports pedals.
