Our lovely friends discounting and depreciation are coming to visit already! :p

I'm looking forward to what they get down to by end of next year, but almost 5% off new at this stage is a good sign of bargains to come!

"Electric Dreams". Its a bit of a wait...

Porsche have elaborated further. I reckon theyve had a gander at the MG and are taking subtle shots. They mentiones that "You sit close to the road, so it’s a huge advantage over [a platform where] you sit on top of the battery. It ’s a real sports car feeling.” “you are close to the centre of gravity of the car, so the handling is great”.

"The big disadvantage is weight, but we’ve done a lot to keep that in control. Weight-wise, you should not expect a package with weight in the area of a four-door car: we’re significantly better."

“This car, with really sharp steering and good braking, will be a package worth waiting for.”

They did state it might be pushed back and that they want to extend the 718 ICE lifecycle

Save £4500. Ex demo. Any owners selling theres around next summer should still command good money. For the GT anyway. Come on MG add OTA so people can buy. 😂

Is MG UK or dealers discounting '24 plated vehicles before the '25 ones arrive?

Cyberster values have held well to be fair. Its still a 3 month wait for a new one. I guess its 6-7 months early to tell about my predictions for end of year 1.

Im definitely tempted with the low milers near 50k mark. Although i have my eye on a V8 R8 which are old and hit and miss on maintenance even with a warranty. We shall see.

I’m waiting on March to see if there are any pre-reg ones around on a discount.

Otherwise I’ll aim for a used 24 plate from last year. The expensive car supplement being applied to EVs from March is annoying unfortunately

I like the R8's, just can't bring myself to buy anything ICE now though, classics and maybe a motorhome aside.

Typical UK. But it can be argued that used cars are still cheapest in Europe much of the western world. Everywhere else seems to have draconian taxes and premiums.
